Competitors must present:

For the 1st trial
(total length must be 30 minutes):
a. an original composition of Bach
b. an etude by Chopin (Op.10 or 25), or an etude by Liszt.
c. a composition chosen by the competitor.

For the 2nd trial
(total length must be among 40 and 45 minutes):
a. a sonata classica by di Beethoven, Clementi, Haydn o Mozart
b. a sonata by Chopin, Schumann, Brahmas, Liszt, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Bartok, Prokofief, Strawinsky, Barber, Ciaikoski (op.37), Berg, Ianacek, Hindemith, Ives, Ginastera.

For the 3rd trial one quintetto chosen from the following:
(total length must be among 45 and 50 minutes):
un programma scelto dal concorrente, comprendente una composizione scritta nel 1900, nel quale non possono essere presentate composizioni eseguite nella prove precedenti.
